Zack Snyder’s latest zombie movie ‘Army of the Dead‘ has just been released on Netflix and it’s packed with cool looking sunglasses. Even the zombies themselves are getting their shades on!
Tig Notaro Sunglasses in Army of the Dead
Tig Notaro looks badass in these awesome looking sunglasses. She looks ready to take on the whole zombie hoard all on her own. In fact, these sunglasses are so cool, she can refuel the chopper while smoking a cigar because when you look this awesome, nothing can go wrong!
Tig Notaro’s Army of the Dead sunglasses are Randolph Aviator Sunglasses in 23K Gold. These are a square aviator style with a strong looking double bridge. They also feature straight bayonet arms. Randolph Sunglasses don’t have the same obvious branding that some other brands do, but who needs it when the sunglasses look this cool?
You can find these sunglasses on Amazon.com or Amazon.co.uk.
Randolph Aviator Sunglasses are designed and handcrafted in small batches in the USA. A classic style, worn by US Military Fighter Pilots to this day, these sunglasses have stood the test of time and come with a lifetime guarantee.
These sunglasses are also seen in Amazon Prime show Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, as worn by Wendell Pierce.
If the 23K Gold version is not your style, Randolph have loads of great options available on Amazon here.
Garret Dillahunt Sunglasses in Army of the Dead
Garret Dillahunt is seen wearing Wiley X Klein sunglasses in Army Of The Dead. From the front, they look similar to Tig Notaro’s Randolph Aviators, but with a slightly more rounded shape. But we also get a good view of the sides which feature Tortoiseshell arms.
You can check for availability of these Sunglasses on Amzon.com or Amazon.co.uk.
Hiroyuki Sanada Sunglasses in Army of the Dead
Hiroyuki Sanada shows up early in the film (and trailer below) wearing these trendy looking shades. The smartly dressed Japanese actor is so cool in these sunglasses he doesn’t even take them off indoors.
These rectangular-shaped metal frames combined with the blue suit and Hiroyuki Sanada’s tone of voice really give him a sense of authority over Dave Bautista in the scene, which can’t be easy, after all, the Guardians of the Galaxy actor is massive!
One of our readers – Nathan has helpfully identified these sunglasses in the comments below. Hiroyuki Sanada’s sunglasses in Army of the Dead are Prada PR 510S in colour GAS301 Metal Gold – Havana Grey Green. This colour variant is hard to come by now, but you could still find these sunglasses in other colours on Amazon.com or Amazon.co.uk.
More Army of the Dead Sunglasses
We did say that Army of the Dead was packed with sunglasses. There also seems to be a bit of a trend going on here with so many similar looking styles of sunglasses throughout the film.
It’s a little hard to identify Omari Hardwick’s sunglasses here, but you can spot a double bridge and metal frame. If you can help ID these Army of the Dead sunglasses, do let us know in the comments or via our social media channels.
Dave Bautista wears Prescription Eyewear in Army of the Dead
Dave Bautista is seen wearing prescription glasses throughout Army of the Dead. When he’s not wearing them, he has them strapped securely around his neck using black Croakies. If you need to wear prescription glasses during the Zombie Apocalypse, the last thing you want is to lose your glasses.
Dave Bautista appears to be wearing what could be Wayfarer style prescription glasses. Made famous by Ray-Ban, these Acetate brown frames are slightly square in shape and feature a temple highlight. It might also just be possible to see the branding on the arms near the temple which could be Ray-Ban.
You can find prescription glasses like these on Amazon.com or Amazon.co.uk.
