Golden Globe winner Rosamund Pike plays Marla Grayson in ‘I Care A Lot’, now streaming on Netflix US and Amazon Prime UK. Never has being so bad looked so good! Rosamund Pike’s character is a real piece of work, fleecing the old and vulnerable for every penny. All while wearing the most stylish sunglasses and outfits imaginable.
Rosamund Pike is seen throughout the movie wearing some stunning looking sunglasses by Garrett Leight as confirmed on their own Instagram profile. The model worn is Hampton Sun in Colour: Champagne.
Costume designer for the movie Deb Newhall mentions the sunglasses in an article on Variety stating:
Her sunglasses came from Garret Leight. She was familiar with this company and we had 15 pairs of sunglasses to try one, but we settled on one pair that would do it all.

Newhall explained that the choice of sunglasses for Marla’s character was important for those moments when she would meet her target for the first time. In the scene where she first meets Jennifer, played by Dianne Wiest, the classic vintage feel of the sunglasses came across as friendly and non-threatening. Perfect for worming her way into Jennifer’s fortune.
At other times, when combined with her power-walk in those high hills that Marla wears, the sunglasses give Rosamund Pike’s character a real sense of confidence and authority. This is a woman who will not be messed with!
