The only time Kimi Raikkonen isn’t wearing Oakley sunglasses is when he is asleep (I’m assuming), or maybe when he’s wearing his helmet while driving his Ferrari F1 car around the race track like at this weekend’s 2014 Canadian GP at Montreal.
Like his Ferrari F1 teammate Fernando Alonso, Kimi Raikkonen has been wearing Oakley’s Special Edition Scuderia Ferrari Sunglasses during the 2014 World Championship.
In this publicity shot by Oakley, Kimi Raikkonen can be seen wearing the Special Edition Oakley Carbon Blade Sunglasses from the Scuderia Ferrari Collection.
Oakley Special Edition Ferrari Polarized Carbon Blade Sunglasses worn by Kimi Raikkonen
These Special Edition bad boys as worn by The Ice Man are the OO9174-06 Polarized Carbon Blade sunglasses and come in a polished carbon-coloured semi-rimless frame with bright ruby iridium polarized lenses.
As with the other special edition Scuderia Ferrari sunglasses by Oakley, these are highlighted with the iconic Ferrari Red colour on the temples and ear tips and feature a laser-etched Ferrari logo at the bottom corner of the lens.
They also come supplied with a logo embossed micro clear bag to clean and store the sunnies in as well as a hard case and custom Oakley packaging.
All I can say is “GIVE ME”… But with an RRP of £335 according to the Oakley website, I think I need to save up a bit first!
UPDATE: Oakley no longer supply the Scuderia Ferrari Collection sunglasses, however, the Carbon Blade model is still going strong at the time of this update (October 2020). You should be able to find some options still available on Amazon here.
If you’re interested in some Oakley Carbon Blade sunglasses, you’d best be quick, as who knows how long these will be around for?
