The Amazing Spider-Man with Andrew Garfield

The two key stars of The Amazing Spider-Man are seen wearing prescription glasses during the film. Andrew Garfield as the re-vamped cooler version of Peter Parker and Rhys Ifans as Dr. Curt Connors. Okay, it’s a little stereotypical for both of these characters to wear glasses, I mean, they are both incredibly intelligent, Peter Parker was always a bit of a geek and Curt Connors as the (slightly) mad scientist.  But it’s also true to the source material and with today’s fashion, both of these characters look super cool in their designer eyewear.

In the film, Peter Parker finds an old leather briefcase that once belonged to his father. Inside he finds his father’s old glasses and puts them on – strange that he would have the exact same prescription as his old man? 😉
