Romain Grosjean – F1’s Bad Boy (at the time of writing) was usually seen walking around the F1 Paddock wearing Oakley Dispatch II Sunglasses during his Lotus F1 days.
I snapped the image below of the Lotus F1 driver wearing his favourite sunglasses over his head during an interview after qualifying for the Korean GP.
I believe Romain Grosjean does have natural talent – he is the current GP2 Champion and has shown some impressive speed and performances – if he can get past the first corner of the race!
He hasn’t had the smoothest of years overall, but I still think he could win races as he gains more experience. Everyone has to start somewhere. I wonder if he’ll get his first win this year – after all, seasons like this, with 7 different winners in the first 7 races don’t come around very often. Although he is running out of events to do it now and the Red Bulls are finally finding their form again at the business end of the championship.
Oakley Dispatch II Sunglasses as worn by Romain Grosjean
Lotus F1 driver Romain Grosjean wears Oakley Dispatch II Sunglasses, however, the colour option does not appear to be a standard choice.
The great thing about the Oakley Dispatch II sunglasses is that you can customise them with your own choice of lenses or Oakley O Icons, which is probably what Romain Grosjean has done to his sunglasses in these photos.
UPDATE: Unfortunately, Oakley has now sadly discontinued these sunglasses. However, you might be lucky enough to find a pair still floating around from various stores or on Amazon. Alternatively, the similar-looking Oakley Crossrange Patch Sunglasses would make a pretty decent substitute. You might still find some available here.
If you already own a pair of Oakley Dispatch II sunglasses, you can still pick up replacement lenses without too much difficulty.
