Formula One driver Pierre Gasly has launched his own collection of sunglasses in collaboration with Hawkers. The AlphaTauri driver has been working on the sunglasses collection with the Spanish eyewear brand over a period of two years.
The Pierre Gasly Sunglasses collection by the French F1 star includes four unique sunglasses designs released for the Spring/Summer 2021 Collection.
Each design is inspired by Pierre’s personal style. Gasly quotes on his own site about the sunglasses collaboration:
Pierre Gasly x Hawkers – Leave Your Mark – Sunglasses Campaign for 2021
Pierre Gasly is seen wearing each of the sunglasses models in the Leave Your Mark 2021 promotional materials from the brand including this video.
Pierre Gasly Sunglasses – Hawkers Citybreak
These Limited Edition Hawkers Citybreak sunglasses are seen clearly in the promo video while Pierre is having fun and driving a 4×4 through sand dunes in the desert.
The Hawkers Citybreak sunglasses are a vintage-inspired design with an octagonal shape and a mix of materials including metal and plastic. The double-bridge design gives the frame a unique look whilst also adding strength and durability.
Pierre Gasly personally specified a rose gold and matt black colour combination for the sunglasses frame with gradient terracotta polarized lenses. The Hawkers branding is clearly etched into the arms at the temples.
One of the great things about any of these Hawkers sunglasses is just how affordable they are. It’s well worth having a browse for these on Amazon.com or Amazon.co.uk.
Hawkers Moma Gold Sunglasses by Pierre Gasly
The second frame in the Pierre Gasly x Hawkers Sunglasses Collection is the Moma Gold. Gasly personally selected this rounded metal frame opting to style it a cosmetic yellow lens ideal for evening wear. Complete with a polished gold frame with transparent ear tips and Hawkers branding on the temples.
Pierre Gasly x Hawkers – Bel Air Crosswalk
As part of his Hawkers 2021 sunglasses collection, Pierre Gasly worked with designers to create a hybrid metal and nylon Bel Air Crosswalk model in polished silver and black with solid dark grey polarized lenses, with Gasly’s personal logo located discreetly on the inside of the right temple.
Sauvage Hawkers Sunglasses by Pierre Gasly
Pierre Gasly saw a prototype model during a meeting with the Hawkers designers and fell in love. The Italian GP race winner likes to be first, and not just on the track, so insisted that a black and silver version of the design enter into production as part of his 2021 Hawkers sunglasses collection.
This is a highly unique quality design sunglasses frame thanks to its airy temples and the way the lenses seem to barely touch the frame. This one is sure to be a fashion piece around the F1 paddock.
Great Value Sunglasses for an F1 Driver
But as with all these designs, you don’t need to be on an F1 driver’s salary to afford these. Any Pierre Gasly fan would be silly to miss out on these limited edition sunglasses at such great value.
It’s well worth having a browse for these limited edition sunglasses on Amazon.com or Amazon.co.uk.
