Paul Reiser – The Legend Sunglasses in The Boys

Paul Reiser plays “The Legend” in Season 3 of The Boys and is seen wearing these vintage-style sunglasses by Cazal. They have an oval shape with a slight curve and transparent frame. These Paul Reiser sunglasses in The Boys have been identified as Cazal 161.

Technically these are actually prescription glasses, however, Paul Reiser’s character – The Legend has opted for tinted lenses in these vintage-looking glasses.

In an interview with CBR, Paul Reiser talks about basing the character and his style on the film producer Robert Evans.

When I first talked to Eric Kripke (the show’s creator) about it, the name Robert Evans came up. We were talking about the look of the guy, which we stole shamelessly. He was very unique, with tinted glasses. His style was very specific. My greatest discovery of doing The Boys was putting on a smoking jacket. Why I would ever wear anything else? Even if you are not smoking, it’s velvet. It’s the greatest thing. It takes a certain kind of balls to wear in life.
